I am sure we will be getting a new album by the summer of 2020.
I am thinking a new single around the time The Voice has started lives.
Make sure that the single climbs the charts, in-stores, Snapchat, live performances around the country, interviews about The Voice and new music.
Announcing an album and a tour in late July, release the album around the end of July (one week/10 days later) and make sure to include a track by track.
A stellar live performance during The Voice sometime around mid August, TODAY Show the morning after followed by in-stores for the next week.
Maybe do some Q/A on Twitter and Instagram, talk about the album and writing the songs.
I hope that Delta (and her team) will take notes from Post Malone and do something like that. Possibly, go on Instagram and Twitter - asking fans what songs they want to hear, coming up with a set list and playing that set list. Perhaps, make it a week long thing leading up to the release.
• day one •
Set list of songs the fans want to hear
• day two •
Set list of b.sides/unreleased songs fans want to hear
• day three •
read notes/scribbles of new music and do a small question and answer bit about the new music and how she went about writing the songs on the album. And end day three twitter with her brand new single off her 6th album
• day four •
release teaser for the music video and hide a small clue somewhere telling the fan how they can unlock the purchase of said music video if they find answer
• day five •
do pop up in stores around Australia (6 new songs and an acoustic cover) and end the night with a quick chat hitting just before the 12:00am mark releasing her new album
Let us all be honest, her lack of new music every three/four years is getting a little annoying.
