Nine’s audience share slumped the night after The Block finished, while Seven and 10’s line-ups rebounded. Bride & Prejudice and The Amazing Race both hit season highs before HYBPA posted a healthy increase. Seven won Monday night for the first time since Brownlow Medal night on September 23.

The Bachelorette jumped by 130,000 viewers from last week to post a season high, easily topping the demos. However Seven won the night thanks to the news and The Good Doctor.
The debut of BBC documentary Seven Worlds, One Planet did OK.

The Bachelorette finale posted its biggest audience since season 3, with just over one million (adjusted times) witnessing Angie Kent choosing Carlin Sterritt as her new boyfriend. The final episode itself had 849,000 viewers, an 11% increase on 2018. The numbers were again good enough to secure 10 and Network 10 as No.1 under 50.
Love Island also ended its second season last night, but the episode was pushed back by 30 minutes to avoid overlapping with The Bachelorette finale. In the end the postponement didn’t work: the finale just made the top 20 programs but the winner announcement (Josh and Anna won the competition and shared the $50,000 prizemoney) attracted even less viewers. Earlier, Seven Worlds, One Planet had a small rise from Wednesday’s debut. With The Bachelorette over, the documentary will dominate the Thursday 7.30pm timeslot over the next month.
Seven won the night rather unconvincingly, with The Good Doctor slipping from last week to its lowest ever audience for a first-run episode.

Nine won the night thanks to the extended A Current Affair special, which followed the weekend’s wedding of Married at First Sight couple Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant from preparation to the big day. It took some viewers away from The Amazing Race, which still topped the demos.
Fat Pizza is doing great business for 7mate, however Seven’s premiere movie Dunkirk was beaten by another repeat of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
